This week I grabbed my old backpack for lugging to and from the office, likely purchased in 1995. I’m glad I kept it around and wish I used it more. The Company no longer manufacturers in the United States, according to Wikipedia they were acquired by a Swiss lifestyle brand in ’99 and likely moved manufacturing to somewhere, all I know is their new products don’t feature made in U.S.A. tags anymore.
Features:
- Two large main pockets.
- One smaller accessory pocket.
- 4 by 3 ratio laptop sleeve.
- Tiny accessory pockets behind a “Velcro” flap.
- Sturdy branded zippers
If I recall correctly, the color name was “Espresso,” and it appeared an olive dark brown. However, today it is more of a muted grass green. If you’re wondering about the yellow strain, that was from acrilic paint when I wasn’t careful during a painting course in 2000.
The years following college I usually broke it out as a carry on bag for flights. Easy to hand wash and durable AF. I wonder if their current products are any good? Probably not.
