Ruled pages of a Field Notes notebook, handwriting in cursive and a closed Kaweco Sport fountain pen
  • Pen: Kaweco Sport <EF>
  • Ink: Pilot Namiki Blue-Black
  • Paper: Field Notes Pitch Black, Ruled.
  • 2017 Nook Glow Light Plus e-reader
  • Book: A Fire Upon The Deep by Vernor Vinge (1991)

I’m trying something new and tracking the events and characters in the novel as I proceed through the book. TOR offers their novels DRM free and I choose to purchase them from ebooks.com as they don’t apply DRM or prevent downloads of my purchases. I actually own this ebook, it’s not subject to a license agreement.

@josephdickson A fire upon the deep, I really loved that book ☺️ I use a similar option to take notes on the go: Kaweco Sport and a B5 MD paper notebook 👍🏻

@nacho I have yet to try MD paper, but there’s a small stationary cafe in Los Angeles that carries the brand, I’ll probably switch to an A6 if this turns into a habit. Their website is if you’re curious https://paperplant.co/
