Three new smaller versions of Gutenberg’s default button design
The new buttons should show up in the block editor Styles accordion.
The buttons have a similar appearance on the front end of the website.
These standard buttons are simply too large in text heavy situations.
A little proof that you can still get some work done while listening to music and surfing the web with Trisquel 7 and 2GB of ram in a 7 year old Toshiba NB505 netbook in 2017.
Tonight I ssh’d into my Linux web server zipped up my WordPress wp-content folder and backed up the database. I then downloaded the backups via wget. 🙂
These tiny notebooks are extemely useful and I almost always keep one in my front pocket right next to my phone.
It beats fumbling with my phone to take a quick note.
My Wednesday purchase from Fieldnotesbrand.com included a gift two pack of notebooks and a Field Notes pencil.
These have become a tiny obsession over the last two years as I have tried and abondoned several note taking and productivity apps. None have been as quick or flexible as a pocket notebook.
When at my desk I generally slap it next to my keyboard to jot down anything I need quicker than I could switch to OneNote, Evernote, Google Keep, SimpleNote or whatever.
When away from my desk I can fold it along the spine and scribble something during a “walking” meeting. Tiny notebooks are hardly a revelation, people have been using them forever.
Before you ask, I don’t put passwords or sensitive information in these things. That’s what a password manager is for. 🙂
